Our bodies are involved in all of our thoughts & emotions. Sometimes words can't convey the depth of our experience or shift unhealthy patterns, but mindful attention to physical experience can open up new awareness and self-compassion. Using the founding work of the Soul Motion® movement practice, inspiration and practise from Samvahan vibrational healing and weaving Hakomi psychotherapy principles and practices, these one on one sessions are individually tailored to cultivate relaxation, feeling grounded and centred, move held emotions or stress through the body, improve balance and spatial awareness, bring ease to the nervous system and develop resilience.
Trauma research shows that trauma gets stored in our bodies via our central nervous system’s response to distress. Understanding and regulating these responses is a crucial step towards healing. As you build the permissions to embody stillness and sensation, new ways of relating easily and safely arise.

Sessions are held in a safe, secure, private location. Can also be offered online or over the phone

Price is flexible depending on your situation and on a scale from $90 - $130 per session. Each session goes for at least 1.5 hours. Kate-Marie also holds an equality awareness about making services accessible, so please talk with her if you are experiencing financial limitations.
